"Optima Estate provide so much more than just an 'estate agency' service. Having visited the villa we proceeded to buy only once before returning to the UK, both Sonia and Julia made the purchase incredibly smooth and stress free.

We recently purchased a property through Optima Estate and having dealt with many estate agents, both in Lanzarote and at home, we had to put pen to paper in praise of their incredible service.

Hand on heart we cannot recommend Optima enough.
Margaret from Optima went above and beyond the call of duty in transporting us around and making sure we got the right property for us.  Normally in Ireland this is where the estate agents job finishes but Margaret continued to hold our hand and help us long after the sale had closed. She, along with Sonia, also arranged all manner of stuff for us from builders, railings, alarms, curtains, even arranging for workmen to be on hand when our furniture arrived and getting someone to give the house a clean before we moved in.  A value cannot be put on this type of service.

When you are thousands of miles away it is priceless to have someone efficient, friendly and for whom nothing is too much trouble to be on hand to organise work for you.  Margaret has gone above and beyond what was required from her, she continues to be available day or night, she is an asset to Optima Estate and has become a friend to us.

We also commend the rest of the team, Sonia who held our hand through the legal process and Richard who looks after the villa management for us.  Sonia, Margaret & Richard have an ability of making you feel like you are their most important customer. Buying a property abroad is a daunting, stressful task and not one to be completed lightly. What we UK buyers need is someone to hold our hand during the purchasing procedure, a process that’s completely new to us and so different to the UK. When we buy abroad, we enter the unknown, it’s full of pitfalls or so I thought.  But actually this turned out not to be the case and all because of the fantastic support I received from Sonia and Margaret from Optima Estate in Playa Blanca.

Playa Blanca is awash with estate agents; fortunately I chose an estate agency with values and principles that suit the British buyer of property in Lanzarote. The email I received after my initial enquiry to Optima Estate was so friendly and informative and obviously from someone who cared, someone who took the time and trouble to respond with her heart. I didn’t want any pressure sales, I wanted honest, unbiased information - I got this but that’s not all I got! What I got wasn’t what I expected, in fact; it was much, much more. Their support didn’t finish once I received the keys.

 The after sales support from them both was superb and couldn’t be faulted. They arranged for a host of skilled and trusted people to complete jobs in my villa at competitive prices. They took full responsibility for these arrangements, such as, gathering curtain swatches to email me so that when I visited the curtain shop  making my final choices was so easy to do. Every little detail was taken care of. This took the stress and pressure away from me, I had enough to do and think about. They made it so very easy. In four weeks everything I needed had been catered for so that when I returned to the UK, they continued to follow up on uncompleted jobs. I trusted them both implicitly and knew they would keep me informed and would continue to serve me well.

I really couldn’t have done what I did without them, they were truly inspirational and I would recommend Sonia and Margaret from Optima Estate unreservedly. Words cannot fully express my gratitude to them, they are estate agents with a heart and soul and this is what makes Optima Estate stand far above the Playa Blanca crowd.
